What's coming soon in the beta

During the private beta, a few features are switched off while we finish them. You'll still see them in Solid Vibes, with a small Coming soon pill, but you can't use them yet. When one is ready, we switch it on. There's nothing to update or install.

Get it made

What's coming: in Make → Get it made, an instant price range and lead time for having a part printed, machined or cut by a shop, quote requests, a directory of partners, and Become a partner for shops.

Today: the tab shows Get it made · Coming soon, and an old link to it opens Make → Check. Use Make → Export to download STEP, STL or 3MF, and send the files to a shop yourself. See Get a part made: instant estimate and quote requests.

Slice here

What's coming: G-code for your printer, made right in the browser, with a layer preview. This is the Slice here option in Make → Print, Slice for my printer in the Share menu and ⌘K, and asking the agent to slice.

Today: choose Open in a slicer in Make → Print to send the 3MF to Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer or Cura with your settings already set, or press Download 3MF. See Open your print in your slicer in one click.

Buy all

What's coming: one cart per supplier for every bought part in the Make list, with price estimates and BOM files for Digi-Key and Mouser.

Today: each bought row still has its own Buy links, and the Make list's ⋯ menu has Download CSV and Download PDF for the shopping list. See Buy the bought parts.

Send to shop

What's coming: one pack from Drawings with the PDF drawing, the STEP file and a readme for the shop.

Today: export the PDF (and DXF if needed) from Drawings and the STEP from Make → Export, then attach them to your email. See Drawings for a CNC shop.

Marketplace publishing and community

What's coming: publishing your own Things to the public Marketplace (including custom features, new versions and publishing again), ratings, questions and comments, Printed it photos, and creator rewards.

Today: you can browse and search the Marketplace, Use in a Thing, Remix, use the official Solid Vibes library, report a listing and follow creators. Ratings, comments and prints already on a listing are still shown. On the Team plan you can release a version to your Team library. Creator rewards aren't granted until publishing opens.
